Mindy was introduced to yoga in 2006 through prenatal yoga class, and she has been practicing ever since. The physical and spiritual practices of yoga help her to stay grounded, to be more patient, and to remain positive in times of stress. She believes that yoga is for everyone, so her public or private classes are tailored to accommodate any level of physical fitness and capability. With over 15 years of experience, Mindy can help you develop a posture practice to improve strength, flexibility and balance. She can assist you with breathing and meditation techniques for stress reduction and general wellness. Mindy always shares WHY we do certain yoga postures, what various moves do for our body and how the forms benefit us on an energetic level. The study of energy guided Mindy toward a plant based lifestyle and also to Reiki, an energy healing practice. People who have worked with her say they feel welcome and capable under her guidance. Mindy will encourage you to gently explore your body, mind and spirit, to discover your limits. She will also encourage you to press against those limits, and over time you will realize that you can do more than you could when you first started. Mindy studied at World Peace Yoga in Cincinnati, Ohio, completing 300 hour Foundational Teacher Training in 2012 and 350 hour Advanced Teacher Training in 2017.
